College was by far the longest I have ever lived in one place, where I spent four years studying mathematics, international studies, and physics (as a minor) at one of the nation's top universities.

Upon graduation I spent a year volunteering through Americorps, in which I taught physics and calculus at a high school on Chicago's south-side. After completing my year of service, I took a construction management position, where I performed schedule and cost control on a billion-dollar construction project in southern Illinois. I am a driven person, and in some areas...I know what I want. In life, I am still trying to figure everything out, but who isn't?
